Lady M unveils new Whisky Dark Chocolate Mousse in the New Year

Let your first cake of the year be this limited edition creation, concocted from a pairing as old as time. The Whisky Dark Chocolate Mousse, a new seasonal Lady M creation features The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old, bringing together the best of chocolate and cocoa from France, combined with flour from Japan and cream from the United Kingdom, the cake is constructed with two layers of dark chocolate and milk chocolate whisky mousse that are separated by a film of whisky jelly with orange zest, set over a moist chocolate sponge base and crunchy dark chocolate feuilletine.

Enrobed in a dark chocolate glaze and crowned with dehydrated orange slices, each bite undercuts the rich, creamy chocolate mousse and permeates the palate with the whisky's complementary aromas such as vanilla, honey and citrus.
